Comcast internet service

My DSL has went up to $31.95 a month. I was wondering if anyone had Comcast internet and was it better than DSL. Also, could you give me an idea of what it costs? Thanks for your help.

Basic Comcast internet is about $45
I'm happy with it.
It's not 100% perfect but it will do.

Wow. Is that just for internet or bundled with cable service too?

That's what you pay if you have cable. Without you'll pay $50+ a month.

What's wrong with $32 a month for DSL? I guarantee it will be more reliable than any service you get from a cable company.

I have Comcast internet. They charge an extra $15 because I don't have their tv service. My bill is $57.95 a month.

My comcast internet comes out to a little over $40 a month, not even $45.
It's a lot better than DSL, but like everything else there are always problems.
Comcast is still trying to get all the kinks of transitioning old Adelphia and other customers in the area over on their server. So bare with them for a while.

lol at you for "standing" up for Comcast....they are trying to work out the Adelphia "kinks"...wtf??? get real, comcast is a HUGE company....you all are getting screwed

I'm not a fan of DSL. I worked for AT&T, and they have ALOT of problems with theirs. And I have friends who have the Verizon DSL, and he loses his connection at least once a night. Dunno how it works for everyone else. My Comcast works fine. Had one problem out of it a year ago, had someone fix it, and never had the problem again.

I have had DSL since it was available around here and it has never been a problem for me either at home or at work, always has been solid. It did start at $19/month and has since went up to $30/month but that still beats Cable IMO, especially if you have a satelitte because they charge the extra $15 a month as stated above by others. And to be honest, having used both DSL and Cable, there isn't that much that differs between the two.

when i was down in fla i had comcast........both their cable and internet sucked huge monkey balls

thankfully i dont live in a comcast area up here........but i have a friend who works for them up here......and even he tells me they suck up here too
